2013 Zakynthos, Greece
Image: Navagio Beach, Zakynthos.
We went to the island Zakynthos of Greece in August 2013.
This island
is known for its shipwreck beach/Navagio Beach.Which was one of the mean reasons why we
booked this holiday.
My tips for going to Zakynthos:
- The food in the hotel was so so.. We went out almost every night. It's cheap and you get a lot for the money you pay.
- Rent a car from Faros rental. The service was good and the wait was short.
- Dont go with the big toerist boats to Shipwreck. It takes you hours to
get there and it’s not worth the money. A lot of people we met we complaining
about the big boats: They were very crowded and a lot of people were seasick..
just imagine..
-The Shipwreck is not very spacious and doesnt provide a lot of shade so keep this in mind. Take sunscreen and water with you.

- We drove with the car to the north of the Island. When you get near
Shipwreck people will ask you to join there cruise. These cruises include a
short trip though the Blue Caves which is nice. We paid about 25/35 euro a
person for this trip. The boats are small, we had like 15 people on our boat.
